AfriEarth Foundation, a non governmental organization promoting sustainability and Climate Actions commended the governor of Gombe state for initiating the move to end farmers-Herders conflicts. The NGO recognized that holistic management approach is needed to tackle the root cause of the conflict.

 

The governor was appreciated for focusing on sustainability and his determination to controlling the impact of climate change. The phenomenon needed to be controlled collectively to boost food security, reduce poverty, to increase the IGR of the state and to make the state a  safe place. 

 

No doubt that Gombe state is the sustainability hub of Nigeria, considering the stride that the governor is taking to balancing the environment, which is obviously unprecedented and exceptional in our nation.

For working towards a green environment, show's you are indeed a governor who is concerned about the well being of the people and the environment in general.
